FRUITE PARTY HELD IN PHYSICS DEPARTMENT. KUST

In physics department a fruite party arrange by the students of Islami-e-jamiat.In this party with all the students and respectable teacher were also invited.

(Semester 3rd MSC physics department) Inam-ullah recited few verses of Holy Quran.The party arranged in main labortary .The aim of party was to develop religious consciouness among the students and also inform about IJT manifesto.

ANNUAL GET TOGETHER OF CITY CAMPUS

KUST:29APRIL,Annual get together party held today in kohat board hall from 10am to 2pm.Mostly students were present in the party approximately 2300 members .
The chief guest was Dr.SHAFIQ and the chief organizer was the students of microbiology(SHAKIR ULLAH)7th term.
Their were also other organizers of different sections like FOOD,CARDS,SECURITY ,STAGE DECORATING,TRANSPORT and DISCIPLINE .Each organizer had a different task.
They also invited the musicians from Peshawar and their estimated was 25000.The students were taking interest due to some best performances specially the good performance of dancing singing and parodies.A female(NAILA) sang a nice song at the end of the party.

KUST, April 29: The students of MSc Economics 3rd semester organized a welcome party for the new comer in Master program of Economics in the main library of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) today.

BOARD OF STUDY OF JMC DEPTT:

KUST, April 29: A board of study of department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) was carried out in order to maintain the course contents and to remove the irrelevant subjects and topics from the subject on Monday, April 26, in the department of JMC.

The board of study started at 10:00 am, including all the faculty members and a member of board of studies Mr. Naeem Gul lecturer in deptt: of JMC in University of Peshawar.

The Chairman of JMC Mr. Amanat Khan told that this board of study was mean to maintain the syllabus of Master program and to change the name of the department into an institute.

NTS RESULT FOR KUST LECTURERSHIP

KUST, April 29: The result of NTS for the lecturer ship in Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) has been announced on Tuesday April 27.

The candidates succeeded will now under go through different processes like interview and demonstration of the lecture.

SEMINAR HELD AT IT DEPTT:

KUST, April 28: A one day computer programing seminar held at the department of Information Technology (IT) with the mutual cooperation of the MPhil students of IT department of Quaid e Azam University Islamabad on tuesday April 27, 2010.
The seminar was started at 9:00am in the main conference hall of KUST. The seminar was arranged for the IT students in order to aware them in the computer programing and enable them to do best in this field.
The students of MPhil of IT department of Quaid e Azam University Islamabad coducted the seminar and almost all of the IT students attended this seminar.
The organizer of this seminar told that it is a very benifitial activity carried out for the students of IT of KUST and it will help them in their futur.

PAKISTAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE SERIES OF LECTURE IN CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT .KUST

A lecture in connection with the "Pakistan Academy of sciences series of lectures" will be delivered by Dr.Farman-Ullah department of chemistry,york university toranto,canada on the topic of "Microwave Assisted Continous Flow Organic Synthesis(Macos)"on monday 27,2010 at 9:00 AM in the theater of chemistry department.All the faculty members of chemistry department institutions are invited to attend the above mentioned lecture.

MEETING FOR THE RECLAIM OF VC KUST

All the members of students society, employes,teachers did meeting at the previous night.This meeting was presided by Rizwan wazir.After holding the meeting,they decide to meet with VC family members.

After that,students of KUST decide to adopt a policy by which VC could be reclaim.We will continue our struggle and we demanded from the President of Pakistan and Governer of N.W.F.P to reclaimed VC as soon as possible.

Because our university problems are increasing day by day in the absence of VC.

CERTIFICATE CEREMONY IN FINE ART DEPARTMENT

CAMPUS: VICE CHANCELLOR Dr. Shafiq Distributed certificates among children of different students who participate in competition of drawing sketches.
The organizer was Sir Liaqat of Fin Art Department. This was the second certificate ceremony in KUST.
Students from different schools participated in drawing sketches & won trophies. They also got certificates.
Its a 6 months diploma course in KUST in which the students learn painting sketches, sculpture, artificial walls, decoration etc. All these sketches & paintings were about 23 march's occasion but the result was announced today on 21st April 2010.
In interview with Sir Liaqat he told that "He himself is intrested in painting & he wants that not only in KUST but all over the country Fine Art Department gate fame for its best architecture.
Replying to a question he answered that "He personally invest money in this department although university support it but its his personal desire to introduce this department as the best one for its work.
Dr. Shafiq announced that this 6 months course will be converted to 3 years degree after F.A / F.Sc.
Outsiders were also present in the ceremony & it was a fresh & enjoyable moment for all students of university.

Dr Taslem is Awarded As best Productive Scientist of 2008

JMC RECEIVES MEDIA EQUIPMENTS

KUST, April 21: The Internews Media organization has provided different media equipments to the department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) of Kohat University of Science and Technology on 19 April.

The co-coordinator of the internews studio of JMC Mr. Rooh ul Amin Khan told that the equipments contain 5 computers and recorders.

He further added that internews has provided enough equipments to the department which will help the media students in their practical work.

NTS TEST FOR THE LECTURERSHIPS OF KUST

KUST, April 21: The National testing services (NTS) test for the lectureships of Kohat University of Science and Technology is decided to be carried out on 25 of April.

The process of issuing the roll number has almost completed. The people who succeed in clearing the test will under go through different other stages like demonstration of class and appearance before the Board of Directors.

AWARD CERMONEY, GET TOGATHER OF YOUSAFZAI STUDENTS SOCIETY

KUST, April 21: The Yousafzai student society has organized a get together and award ceremony for the position holders of their districts in the main library today.

The president of the said society told that this is a get together party in which they will give award to the position holders of their districts, in the pervious semester, of every department.

The party will start at 2 PM and it will have the entertaining activities like singing, dancing and entertaining the audience with the jokes etc. At the end there will be a lunch program for the participants, he added.

WELCOME PARTY AT CHEMISTRY DEPTT:

KUST, April 21: The students of MSc Chemistry 3rd semester arranged a welcome party for the new comers in Master program in the Chemistry Lecturer hall on Tuesday April 20.

The party was started at 10:30 AM. Almost all the senior and junior students attended the party along with the Faculty members.

The students presented different tabloos and poems and entertain the audience students.

Dr. Javed Hussain the lecturer in Chemistry while addressing the students encouraged and appreciated the students for arranging such activities. He ensured the students that they will help the students in every activity of the department.

PHYSICS 11 QUALIFYS FOR KCL QUARTER FINAL

KUST, April 20: The Physics 11 cricket team reached to quarter final in the KUST Cricket League (KCL) beated Mansoor 11 cricket team by 27 runs on Monday April 19.

Captain of Physics 11 won the toss, bated 1st and put a target of 120 runs to the opponents. Mr. Amir played well in bating and made an individual score of 43 runs.

Mansoor eleven in his bating turn made a total of only 93 runs and thus was unable to achieve the targeted total.

Mr Salman the organizer of the KCL told that KCL is almost in its ending stage and the quarter final session will soon be started.

Last date of submission form annonced

Kust annonced last date of submission form for BA/BSc exam. 22nd March was the last to submitte forms with normal fee. Now 22nd April is the last date to submitte forms with triple fee. Regular college students and private students can apply for this exam session.

Strike for the Releasing of VC KUST

3DAYS TOUR OF ECONOMICS DEPTT STUDENTS TO GALLIYAT

KOHAT:17April, 24students and 2faculty members went to Galliyat( Murree,Nathiyagalli and Ayubiya) on 16April. Hardly manager allow them for 3days trip.
All the students were so excited.The students will come back on sunday.No female joined the tour only boys are included.Said by an organizer of Economics .

YOUSAFZAI STUDENTS MEETING

KUST, April 14: A meeting of Yousafzai student’s society held in hostel B1’s mess of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) today under the presidency of Muhammad Shahid of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC).
The main purpose of the meeting was to gather the students of all the districts present on the other side of the tunnel like Peshawar, Nowshera and Mardan etc and to discuss the problems they are facing in the university and to find the solution for all those problems.
The president Mr. Shahid while addressing the meeting ensure the participants that this society is extremely means to work for the welfare of the students of the said districts and also to work for the students of the University.

FREE EYE CAMP AT KUST

KUST, April 14: A free eye camp was organized by Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) welfare society with the mutual co-operation of Al- Shifa Eye Hospital today.
The doctor was examining the patients in the Kohat University of Science and technology (KUST) conference Hall.
The process of checkup was till 4pm during which the doctor was giving the concern medicines and in some cases he referred the patients to Al- Shifa Eye Hospital for complete and thorough checkup.
The camp is also expected to work tomorrow as well.

JMC Students faces problems in arranging the trip

KUST,April 06: The students of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) are facing problems in arranging a trip to KAGHAN, NARAN, from the Universtiy authorities.

The students told that they had arranged number of meetings with the concern authorities for the trip who after meeting ensure the students to go for the trip but after 2-3 hours they again inform the students that they can't go.

The students are striving to go for the trip since monday March 29, but still they are in doubt whether the University will allow them for the trip or not.

The organizers told that they have not any trip for the last two years so the University officials should co-operate them in this regard.

KNIGHT RIDERS WINS THE PPL

KUST April 2: Knight Rider cricket team of 2nd semester defeated Eagles of 3rd semester of Pharmacy in the final by 40 runs to win the Pharmacy Premier League (PPL) cricket tournament on Thursday 1st April.
Knight Riders bated first and put a target of 130 run in 8 overs which the Eagles cricket team could not achieve and made a score of 90 runs with all out.
The winner team was given the trophy and medals to each player by director sports of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST). He also awarded the organizers with cash prizes.
He appreciated and encourged the organizers to keep on aranging such activities in the futur too.

I felt much happy because they were praising about our university. according to them if kust construction continue same like this so this university will be arise a top and beautiful university in the world. but its all about our V.C lutfullah and thier qualicqe... INshallah with the pasage of time kust will be arose a great university in the world..

2DAYS TRIP BCS 3RD SEMESTER(IT)

KOHAT:2April ,The students of BCS (IT)3rd semester will go tomorrow for the trip to Murree, Nathiyagali,Bhourbandh and Islamabad.2teachers and 18 students are willing for the trip 3are girls and all others are boys.

kohat:2April,Dr.Arif Ullah khan replaced Farhad Ullahwho was working as a director of IP's at pharmacy deptt, said by Sajjid Hussain (chairman of pharmacy deptt) .

KUST fails to win the Trophy

KUST, April 2: Football team of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) failed to win the final of inter colleges football championship on wednesday 31 March.
KUST football team defeated TAL college in the semi final and thus survived to the final in the championship.
The final match was played between KUST and Post Graduate College (PGC) of Kohat which after a hard struggle PGC won.
The decision of the winner team was taken on Palenty kicks due to the equal points. PGC on palenty kicks won the match with the 4-2

Universities students, essay compition

KUST, March 31: A compition of religious essays between the students of all the universities of NWFP is expected to held in the 2nd week of April 2010.
The basic aim of competition is to interconnect the ideas of students with one another belonging different religions and to give oppurtunity to the students to show the role of their religions in the world brotherhood and peace.
The essay is to be written in urdu of less than 8 and more than 4 pages.
It should also be on 4A and 16Pt command and should not criticize any of the religion.
The first three position holders will be given prizes of 10,7 and 5 thousands rupees.
The essay should reach before 10 April on the following addresses.
