KUST, June 2,2010: The students of 3rd semester of IPS ( Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) organized a welcome party for the new comers in the department, in the Board Hall on tuesday 1st june.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) was established in November 2007, with the endeavor to fulfill the deficiency of competent media practitioners in the country.

JMC desires to be one of the most energetic and receptive wing of KUST, offering state of the art educational, research and development opportunities to its students at both graduate and undergraduate levels, where they can learn theory and apply their knowledge practically to meet the present and future requirements of Mass Communication industry.

Its courses are blended with the vocational aspect of media practice so as to study the social and cultural responsibilities of media practitioners.
