KUST, May 17: IPS (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) cricket team defeated IMS (Institute of Management Sciences) cricket team in the final to win the KCL (KUST cricket league) tournament today. IPS team bat first and put a target of 141 runs, M. Nasir ( Pharm-D 5th semester) made highest score of 62 runs. IMS team while bating in response made only a score of 104 runs with all out. Director sports Mr. Wajid Ali awarded the wining team captain Hameed with the trophy. M. Zaffar (Pharm-D 5th semester) told that Sajjad with his best bowling (took 5 wicket and scored 17 runs) lead his team to victory and was declared as man of the match.
