KUST, May 18, 2010: A collective decision has been taken by the lecturers of the chemistry department, of giving the research opportunity to the students having GPA equal or above 3 only.
Mr. Shabeer lecturer in chemistry department told that due to this decision the students who are having GPA equal or above 3 will be able to do the research work and in case of less GPA they will do so, in response to this the students told that this rule should be reduce to a GPA of 2.5 because it is totally going out of tune as their seniors have been given this opportunity even with GPA less than 2.5, so they should also be provided the same chances
