KUST, May 27, 2010: A meeting of the presidents of all the societies of KUST held in the lawn of Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) on Wednesday May 19, 2010.
The meeting was about to discuss the problems of the students but majorly to introduce a welfare society which would purely be working for the students of KUST regardless of the sect and race etc.
In the meeting the Student Action Committee was dissolved and another society by the name of Mutahida Talba Mahaaz (MTM) was introduced.
President of the dissolved SAC Mr. Mansoor Khan told that the students are scattered into different societies they are suppose to unite if they want to clear and solve their problem
He further added that this welfare society will not have any president because it will be controversial after it and for this they have assigned four conveners Mr. Shahid (JMC), Adnan (IMS), SubhanUllah (Zoology) and Afzal (city campus) in order to inform all the presidents and students in case of Any problem
